The Help to Build: Equity Loan scheme will close to all new applications on 31 March 2025.   

All fully completed applications received on or before by 31 March 2025, will be able to proceed if both of the following apply:

  • a formal Mortgage Offer has been issued by Homes England by 30 April 2025

  • the formal Mortgage Offer is accepted no later than 31 May 2025.

Apply for a Help to Build: Equity Loan.

Homes England lend the Help to Build equity loan. We are an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG).

Homes England as an entity and Help to Build: Equity Loan as a product are exempt from Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorisation and regulation.
