Details
These reports set out the findings of the commissioner’s reviews and make recommendations for the improvement of children’s social care services in Herefordshire.
They follow a report by Ofsted that judged the overall effectiveness of the council’s children’s services to be inadequate.
The Department for Education issued a statutory direction to Herefordshire Council in September 2022. A revised direction was issued alongside the first of these reports.
