Declare an HGV does not need a tachograph
You must declare if an HGV is exempt from needing a tachograph when you take it for its annual test (MOT).

Use this form for HGVs that do not have a calibrated tachograph and are exempt.
The form needs to be given to the tester when the vehicle is tested.
