1. Key changes for 2013/14 new entrants and students who started their courses from 1st September 2012 onwards
1.1 Tuition Fee Loans
Maximum tuition fees and tuition fee loans were maintained at 2012/13 levels in 2013/14
1.2 Maintenance Grant
Maximum Maintenance Grant has been increased by 3.22% in 2013/14 to £3,354. The household income threshold for the maximum grant is £25,000 and the household income threshold for receipt of the minimum grant of £50 is £42,611 in 2013/14.
1.3 Loan for living costs
Maximum loans for living costs (also known as maintenance loans) have been maintained at 2012/13 levels in 2013/14.
