On 16 June 2015, Alex Chisholm wrote to the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, Rt Hon Sajid Javid summarising the findings from the Competition and Markets Authority’s (CMA) report on regulation in HE.

The letter also outlines why the CMA concluded that HE regulation needs to be reformed to protect students and support healthy competition between HE institutions.
