We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:

‘Available statistics for the number of people who have been accepted onto the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) since April 2006 when the changes to the immigration rules for postgraduate doctors and dentists came into force. Also, whether comparison statistics are available from previous years in order to see if there has been a significant increase in applications?
