Details

Highways England has made a commitment to government to save at least £1.212 billion by 2020 through meeting, and preferably exceeding, the efficiency expectations as set out in our delivery plan.

The manual sets out the framework for how we will identify, value, monitor and record these efficiencies. The manual has been developed with the Department for Transport and our monitor the Office of Rail and Road and we expect that it will develop and be updated over time.
