2. Prison Capacity
The meeting was convened to discuss the latest position on prison capacity and the likely impact on courts.
The Board was invited to consider HMCTS’s position and confirm its support. It was also asked to note the impacts experienced so far as a result of prison capacity issues and discuss any further action that might be appropriate in light of the circumstances.
