This annual statement is the first to describe in detail the steps that HM Treasury has taken to tackle modern slavery risks in its supply chains. It also describes how HM Treasury is helping to build greater capability across the department to conduct modern slavery due diligence. The statement sets goals for how HM Treasury will make year-on-year progress in tackling modern slavery and protecting workers from exploitation in its supply chains.
