Details

This policy framework provides for the isolation in custody of people who have or may have a disease which presents a significant risk to human health. It sets requirements for their safe and supportive management.

This is an interim Policy Framework. It is subject to review and revision and feedback on its application is welcome.

The Policy should be read in conjunction with the supporting HMPPS operational guidance and the Public Health guidance for prisons and places of detention.
