The Embassy can no longer accept Home Office citizenship applications.

Details

Historically, the Embassy acted as a post box by accepting fees and forwarding applications for registration, naturalisation and renunciation to the Home Office. The Embassy can no longer accept these applications. This stopped on 16 July 2012 and applicants now have to apply directly to UKBA. The Embassy will however continue to arrange the citizenship ceremonies.
