Details
To ensure consistent legibility and clarity, there are three versions of our logo using the royal coat of arms – a primary version, simplified version, and horizontal version. Each version has a minimum size guideline.
Maximum and minimum sizes refer to the width or height of the royal coat of arms, not the identity as a whole. Where the logo is applied will dictate which version should be used.
You should only use the original artwork files and never attempt to recreate the logo.
Primary logo
The primary version of the logo is used when reproducing printed materials above 21mm. It must never be used for digital platforms.
The minimum width is 20mm.
If the printing process does not provide a high reproductive quality, then the simplified logo must be used instead of the primary logo.
Simplified logo
The simplified version of the logo is used when the printing process does not provide a high reproductive quality or when you are reproducing below 20mm such as small, printed items like business cards or for digital printing and for Word documents and PowerPoint Templates.
The minimum width is 6.5mm or 25 pixels.
Horizontal logo
The horizontal logo version is only used on digital platforms such as online or mobile devices at 50 to 30 pixels high.
General guidance
- a signboard must be displayed in a prominent position on any development supported by Homes England
- the logo must be placed on site signboards in an appropriate manner. Providers can use their own judgement, but should ensure that our logo is given equal prominence to that of other scheme partners
- please ensure that the logo is reproduced carefully – it can be made larger but must not be warped
- where more than one partner’s branding is displayed alongside Homes England, there is no specific order in which they must appear
- please also ensure that you replace our old HCA logo with the official Homes England logo
- providers are responsible for obtaining any necessary statutory approvals or consents e.g. Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisement) Regulations, 1992
Additional text
- where applicable, please change our website address to www.gov.uk/homes-england
- there is no requirement for any additional text or strapline, however where there already exists the text ‘With funding from the Department of Communities and Local Government’ or ‘With funding from the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities’, please replace with ‘With funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’.
