Notes:
1. It is possible for an individual to offer more than one property for sponsorship or to submit an expression of interest (EOI) on more than one occasion. This figure estimates the number of people who submitted at least one EOI, not the number of properties offered or the total number of submissions received.
2. The total number of submissions received has been de-duplicated where both the full name and contact details match exactly, however it is possible that some duplication will remain.
3. This figure excludes expressions of interest that have been submitted on behalf of an organisation.
4. Please note that this figure does not include individuals who submitted an EOI from Wales and Scotland from 16 December 2022 onwards due to the introduction of separate forms in the respective devolved administrations.
This figure is not an indication of sponsor availability. Expressions of interest submissions through gov.uk are not used to match sponsors to new visa applicants directly, and it is not a requirement of sponsors to complete a gov.uk expression of interest form. Local authorities, devolved administrations and voluntary organisations may also maintain lists of people who have expressed interest in becoming a Homes for Ukraine sponsor which will not be captured in this figure. Expressions of interest submissions may be used by local authorities to find new sponsors for guests already in the UK who may need to move to a new sponsorship.
The figure includes all people who have submitted an expression of interest since 14 March 2022. Individual circumstances may have since changed, and this figure is not an indicator of how many people are currently available to host.
