This assessment framework sets out how we will assess your claim if you choose to request a detailed assessment under the Horizon Convictions Redress Scheme (HCRS).

Use this framework to decide whether you should take the £600,000 optional fixed settlement or request a detailed assessment, with the help of legal advice. 

If you request a detailed assessment, this assessment framework sets out how we will calculate the amount of financial redress that you are owed. 

The HCRS aims to put you back the in position you would have been in if your prosecution and conviction had not happened.
