Details

The government is doing a range of things to help older people including:

  • helping people live fuller working lives
  • putting in place a new pensions system
  • making health and care more personalised and sustainable
  • supporting people to live independent lives in older age

The House Of Lords Committee on Public Service and Demographic Change published Ready For Ageing? in March 2013. The government published its initial response in July 2013.
