Housebuilding in London: Letter to the Mayor of London regarding housing delivery in London

Details

The Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities has written to the Mayor of London to use his powers under Section 340 of the Greater London Authority Act 1999 to direct a review of the London Plan on policies covering industrial land and Opportunity Areas.

The letter also includes further measures to accelerate housing delivery including allocating £500,000 of specialist planning support for the London Boroughs of Newham and Greenwich.
