Details

You need to complete a Land Transfer and Amendment (LTA1) form if you want to:

  • amend, add or remove agreement options from your Environmental Stewardship (ES) agreement
  • take over land from someone else’s existing ES agreement
  • remove land from your agreement
  • change prescriptions or indicators of success (for Higher Level Stewardship (HLS) agreements only)
  • put land into phased organic conversion (for organic agreements only)
  • enter non-agreement land into the agreement (in exceptional circumstances for HLS agreements only)

You’ll need to receive written approval from us before you make any of your proposed changes, as these aren’t automatically accepted.

Your form is specific to your agreement. You only need to complete the sections which apply to the changes that you want to make.

When you return your form, include all supporting documents. This will help us make a decision on your agreement quickly.

If you need further help completing the form after reading this guidance, please contact the Rural Payments Agency (RPA).
