This report describes how central government, local government and HS2 Ltd are responding to the recommendations of the High Speed 2 (HS2) Growth Taskforce.

The taskforce published their report HS2: get ready in March 2014, setting out the challenges to maximising the benefits from HS2 and their 19 recommendations to address these. Their advice on how to maximise the return from the investment in HS2 has informed a programme of HS2 growth and regeneration work. This report describes the work that is both already underway and planned for the future.
