At the events, you will be able to find out how the design for the route will be developed and the environmental impacts assessed.
We’ll also explain the consultations we launched in July 2017:
- a consultation on the proposed relocation of the Eastern leg rolling stock depot
- a consultation on the proposals for an enhanced Crewe hub station
Both these consultations will close on 12 October 2017.
Above is the HS2 network map and key.
Two further consultations were launched at the same time, mainly for local authorities and other technical organisations. These are on the draft scope and methodology for the Phase 2b Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and the Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA). These consultations will close on 29 September 2017.
In July 2017, the government confirmed the route for the next phase of HS2: Crewe to Manchester and West Midlands to Leeds (Phase 2b).
