The first of HS2 Ltd’s annual reviews of the significant effects on air quality related to highway traffic changes and interventions during construction of the Phase One route.
The report contains annual mean nitrogen dioxide monitoring data for the 2016 calendar year, gathered from a nitrogen dioxide diffusion tube survey. The report also presents a comparison of the 2016 annual mean nitrogen dioxide monitoring and the modelled predictions from the Phase One Environmental Statement.
It also sets out the commitments HS2 Ltd has made for measures to reduce air pollutant emissions generated by construction activities.
This document supports the Code of Construction Practice (CoCP), which forms part of the Environmental Minimum Requirements (EMRs).
