Notice is hereby given that:
In pursuance of section 19(1) of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 and section 35(1) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, Natural England has, by the Humberhead Peatlands National Nature Reserve No.04 Declaration made on the 1st day of March 2021 declared the land referred to therein a National Nature Reserve.
The land having a total area of 97.29 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the Parishes of Goole Fields and Crowle and Ealand in the Unitary Authorities of East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, and the Parishes of Thorne and Hatfield in the Metropolitan District of Doncaster and shown vertical or diagonal hatched and shaded yellow on the map attached to the said Declaration, is held by Natural England and the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, a body approved by Natural England.
The said land is being managed as a nature reserve, and Natural England is satisfied that the land is of national importance.
