This document provides the UK government response to the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI) country portfolio review of UK aid to India, published on 14 March 2023.
The UK government welcomes ICAI’s recognition of:
- the government’s work to support economic growth and job creation in India
- our effective partnerships with the Indian government
- emerging success stories on climate finance and green infrastructure
We remain committed to improving the coherence and additionality of our efforts, drawing on UK strengths and expertise in India and in the UK.
