Polymerase chain reaction assays have been developed to detect and identify DNA originating from allergenic nut materials in processed foods.This study assesses the use of the QIAxcel DNA High Resolution Kit and QIAxcel® system for the analysis of PCR products and demonstrates the successful use of the PCR method across a range of food samples.
