The Immigration and Social Security Co-ordination (EU Withdrawal) Bill will provide the legal framework for the future immigration system once the UK leaves the EU. It ends free movement and protects the status of Irish citizens in UK immigration law. The bill will also enable changes to be made to the current rules for social security co-ordination, maintaining consistency between the future immigration system and the UK’s future arrangements on social security.
Documents related to the Immigration and Social Security Co-ordination (EU Withdrawal) Bill can be found on the Parliament website.
