Details
Since 2017, Public Health England (PHE), now the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), has commissioned surveys to explore the attitudes of teenagers and their parents to the adolescent vaccination programme which is delivered through school immunisation teams.
The results provide insights which are used to inform the development of the routine immunisation programme and to tailor healthcare professional resources and training materials.
The surveys have consistently shown that confidence in the routine vaccination programme is high in both teenagers and parents.
