Details

The impact evaluation of EIF and GIF aims to learn lessons about the delivery of the two investment funds and to provide an assessment of the impact of the investments on skills investment and business activity. The evaluation has complementary strands of qualitative and quantitative research and takes place across multiple waves.

This report presents the findings of a baseline survey of employer beneficiaries undertaken in 2014. The survey looked at employers’ self-reported assessment of the impact of the EIF and GIF investment programme. The purpose of the report is to present the characteristics of employer beneficiaries, their motivations for participating and self reported impacts.

The report should be read alongside the baseline qualitative findings report and the review of investment projects: learning and performance report.
