Details

Reports from 2 studies produced by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and independent researchers into the impact of the smart metering roll-out on household energy use.

The first report is from an independent review of energy supplier evidence completed by the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), an independent specialist research agency.

The second report presents findings from an experimental use of the 2021 version of the National Energy Efficiency Data-Framework (NEED) to analyse energy savings from smart meter installations that took place between 2015 and 2018.
