This improvement notice requires Cheshire East Council to take steps to improve its children’s social care services.
It follows an Ofsted report that judged the overall effectiveness of children’s social care services provided by Cheshire East Council as ‘inadequate’.
Please note that the decision to issue this improvement notice was taken prior to the change in Government which took place on 5 July 2024.
