Details

This report was jointly produced by the Home Office and Ipsos UK to assess changes to the Independent Child Trafficking Guardian service including the introduction of a Post-18 Worker role to provide continuing support to children following their 18th birthday, and a Regional Practitioner role to provide one-to-one support to children who have a figure of parental responsibility in the UK.

The evaluation aimed to understand how the roles have been implemented and whether they improved child outcomes. This was achieved through qualitative interviews and quantitative data analysis.

Overall, the findings were positive, and staff and stakeholders advocated for the roll-out of both changes. The report also includes some recommendations for future improvements of the service.
