Documents
Details
These documents support publicly funded colleges, training organisations, local authorities and employers (FE providers) to understand the details of the data about learners and their learning that must be collected and how to apply them.
The data collected is used to calculate funding due to FE providers, for performance monitoring, future planning and to ensure that public money is being spent in-line with government targets.
- there are instances where documents are revised and re-issued
- all changes from previous versions are highlighted within the documents
- notifications of new documents and new versions of documents which may be added through the year are issued via the SFA email alerts and in our Twitter data channel
ILR 2014 to 2015 guide to recording ESOL QCF qualifications
This is of interest to all colleges and training providers who deliver ESOL Skills for Life. This document explains how to claim and record the appropriate amount of funding for the new qualifications.
Learner entry user guide
The learner entry user guide (above) includes a link to our free software application for providers who do not have access to a data management system. The application is intended to enable manual submission of ILR data to the Skills Funding Agency in the funding year 2014 to 2015. It replaces the form entry element of the Funding Information System (FIS).
