Details

The Infected Blood Inquiry (IBI) is a public inquiry which will examine the circumstances in which patients treated by the NHS in the 1970s and 1980s received infected blood and/or blood products; the impact on their families; how the authorities (including government) responded; and the care and support provided to those infected and affected (such as their families, loved ones and carers).

These documents provide further information about the inquiry to GPs and their patients.

More information can be found on the Infected Blood Inquiry website.
