A levels in 2021, England-only, 18-year-olds
Total A level entries for 18-year-olds this year was 696,000 compared to 658,000 in 2020.
Grades achieved this year:
- 19.0% achieved grade A* compared to 14.3% in 2020
- 44.3% achieved at least grade A compared to 38.2% in 2020
- 88.4% achieved at least grade C compared to 87.8% in 2020
