This high level strategy document sets out how the ICT strategy will support and enhance the VMD’s activities during 2015 to 2016 as set out in the Business Plan.

The strategy includes commitments to:

• provide information services that are fit for purpose, affordable and sustainable
• develop common strategies across Europe
• contribute to Defra’s work to drive down costs and improve value for money
• implement the digital by default strategy
