As part of the Information Management Assessment (IMA) programme The National Archives published an independent report for the Department for Education (DfE). The National Archives’ ‘DfE IMA report’ looks at how well the department manages its information and mitigates related risks. It aims to raise standards and makes recommendations for improvement.

In response to the report, the ‘DfE’s IMA action plan’ includes the department’s plans to improve standards of knowledge and information management.
