Details

Investigation into whether there are tangible benefits to physical transport infrastructure from the better sharing of data. The report considers both technology, and human issues concerned with:

  • governance
  • privacy
  • cooperation

The study was completed within the Cambridgeshire A14 corridor as a test of its wider applicability.

The investigation builds on the Smart Transport Internet of Things Data Ecosystem (STRIDE) project. STRIDE looks at the collation of disparate data via an information hub to produce enhanced information sources for re-use.
