Letter from Local Government Minister Brandon Lewis reminding billing authorities of their statutory duties to provide a statement with Council Tax bills which gives information on how to challenge the Council Tax banding. The minister asks that council staff actively explain all the rights to challenge, and direct taxpayers to the Valuation Office Agency’s website.
