Industrial action and delays to services — insolvency practitioner bulletin 3 (2025)

What you need to know
We previously announced how industrial action would impact HMRC employer services from 23 December 2024.
Delays caused by this have created a significant backlog in cases being processed by HMRC PT Operations Employer Services Team.
HMRC will continue to deliver the:
The phone lines and webchat will be open 8am to 6pm as usual but you may experience longer wait times.
What you need to do
If your case is affected by the industrial action, use our online tool to check when you can expect a reply from HMRC.
Do not send details of affected cases to our mailbox at insolcustservices@hmrc.gov.uk during the industrial action, as our team will not be able to deal with them.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We aim to meet our service standards as soon as possible when the industrial action ends.
