Summary of complaint:

This Order is made in relation to a complaint that Messrs Hemal and Manubhai Mistry in their role as joint liquidators breached Regulation 30 of The Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017 (‘MLR’), when they failed to undertake Customer Due Diligence prior to the establishment of the business relationship and prior to acceptance of funds

Accordingly, the IPs were found liable to disciplinary action under the IPA’s Articles of Association.
