Re: Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Request
Thank you for your email of 11 February 2023 in which you requested from the Insolvency Service:
- The number of Director Disqualification Compensation Orders and separately Undertakings that included provision for compensation.
- The same data of the quantum
Your request has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).
I can confirm the agency holds the information that you have requested and I have provided answers to your questions below in relation to the period between 01 November 2019 and 24 February 2023. Please note that the numbers are based on management information (as they are not currently included in the Official Statistics).
- Number of Compensation Orders - 1
- Number of Compensation Undertakings - 29
- Total quantum of Compensation Orders – £559,484.
- Total quantum of Compensation Undertakings - £573,723
