Thank you for your email of 23 September in which you requested from the Insolvency Service: Information about the organisations Local Area Network (LAN) environment including details of contracts and suppliers.
I can confirm the agency holds some of the information that you have requested and where appropriate I have provided answers to your questions below.
Some of the information you have requested is exempt from disclosure for the following reasons;

Information which is reasonably accessible to the applicant other than under section 1 is exempt information under section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and is therefore refused.

Information is not held by the Insolvency Service. The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) does not require public authorities to answer questions unless recorded information exists. Therefore, to answer a request the FOIA does not oblige a public authority to create information if the requested information is not held.

The information requested constitutes personal data and is exempt from disclosure under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Personal data can only be released if to do so would not contravene any of the data protection principles set out in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018.

The Service does not hold this information as it provided by our suppliers as part of the managed service.

36 months with the option to extend by 2 x 12 months maximum.
