Integrated Transport Block (ITB) allocations: 2025 to 2026

Published 28 March 2025

Applies to England

Allocations summary

The Integrated Transport Block (ITB) funding is allocated to support local transport maintenance and enhancements. It is allocated to local transport authorities in England outside of London.

Allocations are calculated based on the existing highways ITB formula, which is rounded. Allocations are the same as recent years.

Funding equivalent to the ITB is consolidated into City Region Sustainable Transport Settlements (CRSTS) where applicable, this means CRSTS areas are not included in the funding table below.

Regions and authorities that do not receive this funding

London Boroughs and Transport for London (TfL) do not receive this funding.

Cornwall Unitary Authority is within the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local government’s business rates retention pilot. It instead retains a proportion equal to what it would normally receive, so its funding for ITB is indicative only.

See highways maintenance funding for more information.
