The Business and Industry Interministerial Group met on 17 January 2023. The meeting was chaired by Lord Callanan, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

What was discussed

  • update on Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Bill and the associated reforms to Companies House and the implementation of the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act.
  • the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill and the outcome of the review of the Energy Bill Relief Scheme.
