UK-Australia Agreement on Mutual Recognition in Relation to Conformity Assessment, Certificates and Markings

Description

This agreement replicates the effect of the EU-Australia MRA as it would apply to the UK-Australia relationship. It allows for mutual recognition, promotes trade and facilitates market access between the two countries.

UK-Japan Agreement on Mutual Recognition

Description

This agreement replicates the effect of the EU-Japan MRA as it would apply to the UK-Japan relationship. It allows for mutual recognition, promotes trade and facilitates market access between the two countries.

This treaty will not be in place for Day 1, but the UK and Japan exchanged letters on 20th September, confirming arrangements that ensure continuity of the effect of the EU-Japan MRA after exit, until a UK-Japan MRA enters into force. For further information please click here.
