Details

An Intervention is work with an individual that is designed to change their offending behaviour and/or to support public protection. There are a range of HMPPS programmes (accredited and non-accredited) and other interventions available. The guidance supports panels in properly assessing the risk of a prisoner or individual on licence by providing information about which programmes and interventions are available, what they offer, how they aim to address risk, and how progress is recorded and presented.
