This page provides information about the Investment Readiness programme. This includes data visualisations from the Investment and Contract Readiness Fund and the Social Incubator Fund, as well as an assessment of Social Incubator Fund outcomes.

Investment and Contract Readiness Fund

The visualisations in the show investments made by the Investment and Contract Readiness Fund into high growth potential social ventures.

This fund pays for business support to help social ventures raise investment of over £500,000 or win bids to deliver public services contracts valued at more than £1 million. The data shows:

• the venture supported
• the grant amount
• postcode where the venture is headquartered

Social Incubator Fund

This is a £10 million fund administered by Big Lottery Fund (BIG), which helps social incubators to provide investment and support to early stage social ventures across England.

The visualisations show incubator and venture level detail, based on data updated by the incubators themselves.
