The UK IP Crime Group
Updated 13 March 2024
The UK IP Crime Group (IPCG) founded in 2004 is a membership of representatives from the private sector, enforcement agencies and government departments who have a role in tackling IP crime and infringement in the UK.
The group’s structure was refreshed in 2022 following a review of the group’s purpose and operating methods. The reformed IPCG has been structured to enable the group to become a more active forum focusing on shared threats and enabling collaboration between stakeholders across the sector to identify solutions.
The group is led by an executive board made up of senior decision makers across industry and law enforcement.
The IPCG meets regularly to discuss current IP crime and infringement issues, trends, potential ways to work collaboratively and to share best practice.
