Works (whether temporary or permanent) in, over, under or within 8m of the fluvial River Yox/Minsmere River (main river).
Description of activity
Carry out water vole displacement activities along the banks of the River Yox/Minsmere River around the proposed A12 Yoxford roundabout. This involves the clearance of vegetation and tree stump removal from the banks and channel, bank excavation and smoothing, plus use of geotextile matting to prevent the voles from returning. Temporary security fencing will also be installed around the works area.
