Prospective expert reviewers should register online at the IPCC Task Force on National Greenhouse Gas Inventories (TFI) SOD Review.

Information about the background to this work, the terms of reference, outline, table of contents, and work plan are available in ‘Decision IPCC/XLIV-5: Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) products, outline of the methodology report(s) to refine the 2006 guidelines for national greenhouse gas inventories’.
The Second Order Draft (SOD) of 2019 Refinement was been replaced with an updated/corrected version in the online review system on 11 July. The replacement was necessary because of some errors that were discovered after the first version had been uploaded on the system. The changes in the new version are as follows:
-
Annex 5A.2 ‘Scientific background for developing emission factors and scaling factors for methane emission from paddy field from the scientific literature’ has been replaced with a correct version.
-
The line numbers in the document have been updated.
-
The header in the large part of this chapter (from page 5.9 to the end) has been updated.
These changes are important for you in case you have already downloaded this chapter and have made comments or plan to make them, particularly on its Annex 5A.2. If these changes have implication for your comments, please update them and submit them (again) in a comment submission form. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
