The Protocol agreed between the Government and the Iraq Inquiry on the treatment of sensitive written and electronic information.

The Protocol - a standard feature between Inquiries and Government departments - sets out the precise obligations on both sides to ensure that: the Government provides the Inquiry with all the information it needs to fulfil its remit; and, the Inquiry manages sensitive or classified information securely and appropriately.
