Details

The report is the 5th annual progress report on the UK’s progress toward ratification of the Istanbul Convention, and measures taken forward since the fourth progress report, published in October 2020.

The convention covers both reserved and devolved areas, and this report therefore covers the whole of the UK.

It follows the 4th report on progress, which was laid in Parliament on 22 October 2020 and set out progress toward ratification since the UK signed the convention in 2012.
